Wilno, Poland
English translation: To Uncle Norman (Sir!), August 13, 1925. The first thing I must inform you is that I am physically o.k. And I hope the same for you. Thank G-d I'm alright and I hope to hear the same from you. I received your last letter. I'm glad to hear that you are o.k. I am asking only one thing and I hope that you will fulfill it. When you send me photographs of where you are living include American stamps and mail it to me: N. Skolnicki 29 Zalwalna Street, Apt. #9 Wilno, Poland. Please give my best regards to Uncle Aaron and his family, and Uncle Barney and his family. Regards from Avraham and Hershel. From me your nephew, Nacham.

My mother, Zenia Bart, had a large extended family that had lived in Vilna for generations. I am in the process of working with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum to preserve and share my parent's memorabilia. The 'Bart Family Collection' that includes photos, postcards, letters, documents, and other memorabilia will be permanently archived at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. I give no authorizations for distribution owned by the 'Bart Family Collection' other than the photo copyrights acquired by St. Martin's Press for use inside the book Until Our Last Breath.
